50 Years of the Pump House CYT

Calling all past and present people connected with the Pump House Children and Youth Theatre – Join us to celebrate our 50th anniversary.
(We do not have every past members address
so please do share this message with your contacts.)

We are celebrating our 50th anniversary at the Pump House on Saturday 13th July 2024 and you are all invited.

Between 2pm to 11pm there will be:

  • The opportunity to catch up with old friends
  • Food and drink available throughout the event, including Pizza, Ice Creams and of course the legendary Pump House bar
  • Display of some of our archives from the last 50 years
  • A photo booth to have fun showing us your creativity
  • Song from scratch workshop – an opportunity to prepare from scratch on the day and be part of a group song in the performance.
  • Performance in the theatre of songs from the past 50 years of shows by past and present members (late afternoon/early evening)
  • Music in the Colne River Room for all to enjoy and join in with (evening)
  • Some exclusive retro merchandise

Do you want be on the Pump House stage once more and take part in the performance?

Any past or present member can take part in our celebration event on Saturday 13th July and we are particularly interested in multiple generations performing together.

  • Legally Blonde: Gay or European
  • Shrek Jr (for all existing CYT members):

There will also be a music gig in the Colne River Room so also contact Hannah if you are interested in playing or performing.

Pump House CYT Alumni

If you have been a member or volunteer with the Pump House CYT in the last 50 years then you are automatically a Pump House CYT Alumni. Over those many years we have had over a thousand members who have gone on to do amazing things in all walks of life.We would like to keep in touch with you, show off a little bit about our amazing alumni and get all your stories and feedback.  We are also investigating ways to give you access to our archives.  Once we have solved some challenges with giving access we will use this contact info to provide access.

We have created a form for any past member or helper of the Pump House CYT to let us know a little bit about your memories, what you went on to do after your time with us and your contact details so we can keep in touch with you about Pump House CYT in the future and possibly provide some access to some archives.  Any information provided will be kept and used by Pump House CYT only.Many of the questions are optional, so you do not have to complete the whole form.  Please feel free to answer the longer response type questions as little or long as you like (within the limit the form allows us).  You can always contact us if you want to add more.  You should be able to revisit the form to add or update the information as well if wanted and it will be accessible beyond the 13th July.
